What I’m reading
Let’s be real, this list is long because I start books all the time and then find another must read and often get distracted from finishing. No judgment here! What I’m listening to
Ever since year two of the pandemics I’ve noticed my tolerance for audio input has decreased significantly. I need a LOT more quiet time these days so I’m not up on all the amazing podcasts (or music). But, when I do listen, here’s what’s on the airwaves:
What It Takes to Heal: How Transforming Ourselves Can Change the World by Prentis Hemphill (audiobook)
Y’all I don’t even know where to start with this book. I just finished listening and I wanted to underline every word. That’s pretty difficult when listening to an audiobook. I can’t wait to get a hard copy so I can marinate in the words of this book. It’s already going on my Beloved Resources list too!
Finding Our Way hosted by Prentis Hemphill (podcast)
How to Survive the End of the World hosted by sisters adrienne maree brown and Autumn Brown (podcast)
The Ethical Rainmaker hosted by Michelle Shireen Muri (podcast)
Beloved resources I return to again and again
Again, this list isn’t exhaustive but it’s a good sample of the resources (and yes my list is book heavy) that have shaped my thinking, feeling, and practice over the last five years especially. I hope you enjoy these gems as much as I do!
